I found this variscite or chalcosiderite ring on eBay. It was misidentified as malachite. The price was low, so I grabbed it.
Look at that meticulous saw work on the frame.

Yeah, there are still interesting things on eBay, if you’re willing to be patient and look.
I try to avoid jewelry dealers, because they always know what they have. People selling variety household goods with a sprinkling of jewelry seem to be better sources.

Nice @Stracci! It looks a bit like New Lander to me. Could be varasite, but it appears similar to my New Lander cabs:
I interesting how tastes change…in the past I wasn’t attracted to these light green-bluish stones, but recently I’m liking them more and more. At some point I want to have a ring made with one of these cabs!
