An Unusual Sterling Bracelet: Chinese?

Here is a bracelet that I believe could be Chinese in origin. To me it looks like it could be both hand and machine stamped with what look to be residual raised Chinese characters on the back side after the metal was pressed. The bracelet tested 935 by XRF. I’m interested in what @mmrogers thinks of it.

Good morning, @StevesTrail . The bracelet is handmade, so you’re good there. Given the consistency in the spacing of the curved center stamps, the silversmith didn’t just eyeball the stampwork. They used a divider set to about 1/16 to precisely mark each division, and placed the stamp directly on each division to stamp the pattern.

What looks sort of like Chinese characters on the back are actually impressions from individual stamp score marks in the silversmith’s anvil from previous projects which transfer to the back of piece being stamped as raised impressions.

Is there a signature on the back?
