Here’s another buckle I’m trying to ID. The work on it is very different than the Hopi one in my other post. Again, any feedback appreciated!

I was trying to figure out if the etching on @tepowell’s was Hopi or not. The one Steve posted doesn’t appear to have etching; it looks different than Hopi work (and the write up on it says Navajo, but who knows with eBay). They appear to be the same artist.

Thanks, I thought I’d found a similar one and then Google let me down when I went looking again :wink: definitely looks like a match!

It didn’t look Hopi to me, but, you know :wink: if you zoom in on the head in the pic, it looks kind of etched.
