Hubby and I were looking for something to do today, so I decided to take him to Palms Trading. He’d never been there, and I knew he would be impressed.
So he had it narrowed down to these 4 bracelets. Third one down was Eugene Mitchell.
The bottom one was extra delightful, but it was too big.
@Stracci All I see are bolo ties😉. I like your hubby’s cuff choice with that fantastic piece of turquoise! I wish my hubby wore jewelry (only his wedding band for him). I always like to see men wearing jewelry. It’s appealing to me.
@TAH
We walked in, and he honed in on the cuffs immediately. The choices there are endless, but I’m glad he found one that he loved.
(Thanks for the compliment😄He likes that dino bone ring and wears it often!)
Your husband made an awesome choice with a beautiful cuff, @Stracci! I really like the simplicity, and the stone is killer! It looks great with his other pieces, and I concur with @TAH, his ring must have been made by a very talented silversmith.
Oh my, love it. Now I wanna go back there. What a gorgeous cuff (and ring ), and I like the other two with it. I need to start stacking my cuffs again. He has great taste! Do you know who made the other cuffs that he’s wearing with his new one?
I agree with Patina. I love seeing Native American jewelry on a guy, but my hubby won’t wear it either. Only his wedding band - which is of course is the most important thing But he really likes seeing how much I enjoy wearing it, and it’s totally not his personality anyway to wear jewelry.
Hi @Ziacat
We certainly had fun today. We could’ve spent a fortune!
Bracelet #1 belonged to husband’s grandmother, who was from Isleta Pueblo.
We have no idea how old it is, maybe 1960s-70s?
Bracelet #2 was made by Lyle Secatero, he bought it at Indian Market 2024.
They’re both really cool, and they look great together. Now I know why you like Lyle Secatero (wow, my voice texting butchered that , always have to double-check it), I will definitely check him out the market!
