Antique moonstone ring

Got this old ring while out dumper diving lol -to clarify, it was a facebook market place find. The “good dive” is another story the same day.
The ring came in the box shown and I’m not convinced they belong together.
I’m going to date this US Art Nouveau: (1890-1910). Not only because it looks like the style, but because it features a Victorian Era foget-me-not and also, because it’s made with what looks like an old moonstone (in the photos, the stone is wet to show clarity and color). It is stamped 10k which was the lowest US standard during the period and it has no maker’s mark or halmarks which were not requried in the US until 1900. Looking closely, there does not appear to be enough wear for halmarks to have faded and no signs of resizing that could of eliminated marks.
Love this ring -was happy to find it : )
Feel free to add opions -I think the only thing I know for sure is it is old.

I like this brief overview

@singing That’s a nice ring to have found in a dumpster dive! I don’t believe the ring is from the Art Nouveau period, though. Art Nouveau jewelry is usually characterized by flowing & sensuous natural forms like flowers & vines. It’s an elegant and feminine style. You’ll often see exquisite enamel work in Art Nouveau jewelry. In my opinion, you’ve found a more contemporary ring made in the U.S.(10k stamp). The prongs are somewhat crude looking, too. Here’s a photo of my antique, (undated) moonstone ring. While not Art Nouveau, I believe it more aligns with the date range you’ve proffered.

Edit -curious about The Eldridge Collection box. Can’t find any info.
