Antique Native American Turquiose bracelt and necklaces

Family found this while cleaning out the house. We believe these are Native American pieces (maybe Zuni or Navajo). Would any have any idea how to figure out value or more information)

Hello and welcome to the forum.

The butterfly (pin or brooch?) looks to be stamped with UITA 6. The United Indian Traders Association was formed in 1931 for the purpose of promoting authentic handmade Native American arts and crafts.

If that’s indeed what the stamp is, it would place that pin in the Borrego Pass Trading Post, perhaps in the 40’s or 50’s. Here is a comparable example.

Unfortunately, I’m of no help on the other pieces.

The butterfly pin is beautiful and very desirable with the UITA hallmark. The bird (fetish) and turquoise chunk necklaces are not Native American, assembled from supply/craft store parts. The turquoise pendant and bracelet could be Native American, with some research you could probably identify the bear paw hallmark. It will likely be hard to figure out much about the bracelet without a mark.

This is very helpful. Thank you for your response.

the chunk necklace is not turquoise, but appears to be sea sediment jasper, which is often mistaken for turquoise. Likely asian import.
