I have a needlepoint squash blossom necklace, signed Wytsalucy in script with 81 below the name. Wytsalucy has several pieces on auctions, and I had another similar but smaller piece by him. Auction and online sales make claims of creation from the 1940s. Is there any information on the maker? I have done several searches and found nothing definitive.
@marunger Hi ~ Could you please post a clear photo of the front & back of the necklace? That may be helpful in researching it. I checked Hougart’s book on Native American/Southwestern hallmarks but, the name Wytsalucy isn’t listed.
