Authentic Squash Blossom Necklace

Hi New to this board.

Firstly this necklace is so tarnished so please excuse and look beyond that. I wanted to see first if it is worth the time and money to have it professionally cleaned.

I have had this in my possession since the late 90s. Obtained it through a house clearing in Colorado.

Not marked anywhere - but I believe it to be silver - I did the magnet test.

I want to sell it so looking for a value before I put it out there.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. It is worth the time and effort, someone will really enjoy having this in their collection. I would think something like $600 would be a good place to start.

Thank you Jason! Is that how much you think it would cost to clean it or how much you think it would be valued?

Thanks.

eep! don’t clean it! If you’re selling that can really reduce the value for a collector. Let teh new owner choose to clean or not.

I agree, don’t clean the necklace. I was given you an idea of what you might try to sell it for.

Thanks all!!! I really appreciate the help on this.

Clean (gasp!) noooooo lol

It’s very pretty
