Believe this to be from Bisbee and NA made

Hi, nice cuff! Are there any hallmarks? Will you please post pictures of the sides and back? Do you have any pictures that were taken outside in the daylight? It really helps with the true color. Thanks

Nice cuff. I am not so sure about this being Bisbee. Bisbee comes from a mine that didn’t produce a lot of turquoise, so I would be surprised to see a piece this large (without it being very expensive), but of course I could be wrong. Is there a reason you believe it to be Bisbee? It does have a Navajo look. Is there a hallmark? What were you told when you purchased it?

Hello, sorry for my brief initial post. I wasn’t sure how to post and uploaded without much detail by mistake. I personally purchased this item in Bisbee, AZ in 1976/77 while on vacation. I’m just not certain what mine the stone was sourced from. I remember this purchase well because I was traveling with my parents through Arizona and bought this for my girlfriend at that time. Many years later we were married.

There are no marks on the back that I can find. I will post some photos in the sunshine when we have some:)

Hi, one more thing. I don’t remember being told anything specific about this cuff when I purchased it. I was still in High School and recall looking at hundreds of cuffs (all over Arizona and other states Out West) before I chose this one to purchase. Honestly; the only thing I am sure about was the year (either 1966 or 1977) and the city (Bisbee, AZ) where I found it for sale.

I see - you bought it in Bisbee. Unfortunately without provenance or a hallmark to 100% identify that it’s Navajo made, we can’t say for sure. But it definitely has that look. And what great memories you have of buying it! Bisbee is such a cool funky town.

Hopefully someone else will jump in. I don’t really have a guess on the turquoise mine. Maybe kingman.

Thank You for your replies to far. I am considering selling this cuff because no one in my family is interested in it. I would appreciate some guidance regarding estimated value/selling price that i could expect. I am only looking for a range of value min/max; so don’t be afraid to let me know your thoughts.

Also, if anyone here is interested in the item please let me know.
