Hi. I recently acquired this interesting ring. Looking at what remains of the mark on the back and the style of the ring does anyone have an idea or can positively identify this size 9 ring as a Bell Trading product?
I think of those earlier overlay pieces being lighter, to me this work is more contemporary.
How was this advertised to you? An eagle image is not what you see on vintage tourist rings.
Can you show its silver mark, if present? And a detail photo (better resolution) of whatever that mark is?
Hi Chic. I got it in a lot at an auction. No advertising. The silver mark is very worn down. I don’t think I can get a better photo. I was pretty sure it is not bell trading because of the eagle (not thunderbird) image and the detailed work that looks handmade/artisan made. I started looking at the shape of the faint silver hallmark tho and wondering if it was possible it was bell trading.
it may just be a casting flaw, not a hallmark.
Could be a casting flaw
