Hi! I am new to this, so I hope im doing this correctly.
I purchased a lot of old western style belts for $200, mainly for one belt buckle. I could use some input on the 2 belt buckles acquired.
First one is hand scribed “silver” on the back with a figure engraved on the front. Its very heavy! I did clean it with a silver polish, it was filthy! There isnt any markings on the back. Any help identifying this piece would greatly be appreciated!! Ill post the other one with stones in a different thread.
Could this be Mexican made?

That was going to be my guess. I would never look at this figure and think it were Native American created.
