Best way to have this repaired?

I purchased this string from a woman at Santo Domingo many years ago, and it’s one of those pieces I wear all the time. The hook was connected with wire that recently broke. The beads/heishi are on string. I’d be OK with a different type of closure as this one tends to come loose. Any input appreciated!

I would use pliers to reopen the crimp beads and insert two ends of a new loop of wire or cord, tie it off on the back side, and recrimp them. Or get new crimp beads. If it work it would be easier than restringing. Or contact @Jason at Perry Null for a repair.

Thanks! I would hesitate to tackle it, so I’ll investigate Perry Null-I appreciate the info.

@Jason, I’d love to get more info on repairing this necklace, and replacing the stone in the hair clip I also posted.
