Bought at a flea market in Ohio about 35 years ago for $10. Spider web (looks like it could have been cut from same stone as the example on durangosilver.com) STERLING on band with no other marks. Stone is 3/4" x 1/4". Am I right to assume this is Navajo? Any estimate on age or knowledge of artist would be appreciated. Thanks all!

This is a beautiful ring and great find. It is Navajo made and appears to have some nice age. I am assuming when you purchased the piece it wasn’t new. I have seen that STERLING mark on some pretty old pieces, I would guess this ring circa 1950s. It would be very difficult to identify that stone to the exact mine because it appears to have changed color. Due to the age and the webbing characteristics I would assume something from Nevada, something good. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your input Jason, yes it was pre-owned and already had an aged look to it. One of my favorite pieces!
