Can natural coral be rejuvenated?

I came across a necklace that I really like, but the coral is rather dull. By the smell of it, I’m guessing it was hit with polishing compound at some point in it’s life. I’m wondering if there is any way to restore it’s luster. (Sorry for the crappy background.) If you have any suggestions I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

Coral can be polished, but is very heat sensitive. The polishing should be done professionally by an expert who knows how to work with it. You may want to message Jason to see if he’s got a finisher on staff who can work with it.

Thank you @TaraFawn75 . I’m going back for a second look tomorrow, so I’ll get some. It lays in sort of a square shape, which I love because it’s different.
