I absolutely love this stone. does anyone know what it might be? Also the mark is an S, I was told it might be Stanley Bain, but have no idea.

this looks like orange “sea sediment jasper.” can’t help you with the maker- single initial block-style stamps can be almost impossible to narrow down; the block stamps can be bought by anyone. If you can find Stanley Bain, email then and ask!
