Whoa whoa whoa, I apologize from the bottom of my heart. That was not intended the way that you took it and after I messaged that on there I read it and I took it the way that you did LOL I was waiting to see if someone was going to say something if they didn’t I was going to let it go but I very much apologize for that I didn’t mean it that way I meant if you read the tag that’s all that I know there’s no stamp on the back of it that’s all that I know is that what that brown paper tag says on it. I’m very grateful being accepted in this group and be able to be on this platform and do not want to lose the opportunity being on here so again please forgive me

I see that now, but I was wondering if the squash said 925 since you used the term, but apparently not.
I am uneducated in turquoise or the jewelry terms that are used. I inherited this piece along with a lot of others. More necklaces, cuffs,pendants,rings. I’ve started reading up on turquoise and became very interested in the background. My initial thinking was to just sell all of it but now I can’t seem to pay with them. They are amazingly beautiful to me. So I was just trying to further my knowledge of what I have and possibly engage with people who are interested as I am. Every piece of one of a kind. I love that.
I guess I should have made sure I was using the right terms before I posted on here
on this piece the value in my opinion is the original tags.
it can be dated to the source.

It’s okay, I was just trying to understand your piece. Most Native jewelry does not use the 925 stamp, so I was just making sure. Since the tag says turquoise and coral, and this squash has no coral, I am assuming that the store sold similar pieces that were made with coral. But

it looks like the tag says turquoise OR coral. Probably a standard tag they used on all their merch.

You are correct. That’s kind of what I was getting at. I thought maybe they even had two different types of squashes - one in coral and one in turquoise - so they slapped the tag on to cover whichever it was.
I just googled it. I’ve actually been in it, and completely forgot; I think we just stopped for a quick driving break. I remember thinking they had a real mishmash of stuff. There seem to be (although I didn’t look closely) some fairly nice things in the cases, if I’m remembering right. @Goblet, you might try calling them, and see if anyone knows anything about your necklace. I didn’t find an actual website, but this info came up with Google.

I was trying to figure out how I could write this message to all of you but I don’t know how so I’m going to do an individually. Thank you so much for taking your time to research this for me and let me know on this platform what I’m looking at and what I got I was more than I expected. I want to thank you so much for taking your time to do some research for me and find out pretty much what store this came from. I’m really shocked at the interest you guys put into the my one little question and I just want to tell you how much I appreciate it if there’s anything I can do for you please let me know or I will pass the niceness if that’s correct terminology on to someone who does need some help with something. I’m pretty sure pretty soon I will have educated myself on this and probably be able to help someone thank you again have a nice evening.
