Another find from the swap meet. A simple ring with greenish turquoise carved into the shape of a leaf. The bezel confirms to the contours of the stone. Unmarked. Is this a Zuni piece and is the turquoise legit? Is the style attributable to a specific artist?

Looks legit. Most likely the stone was in the possession of the artist/trader. We think of it as being Zuni, but it might not be. The silver work is Navajo. Like the other ring in the picture, the silversmith who made the ring just took the stone he had to work with, didn’t cut or carve them.
