Coral earrings

I just got these as a birthday present and I’m pretty excited about them. The only problem is they’re not marked at all and I would love to know more about them. They are new and I got them from a reputable dealer that I have purchased from before. He often knows the artist of the works he sells, but for these he didn’t have any info. He did say he thought they might be Navajo when I said they looked to be Zuni since he says when he gets Zuni prices he usually labels them such. Do you guys have thoughts on Navajo vs. Zuni or have any ideas on who the artist might be?

Initially I would have thought Zuni, but gave it a second look since your dealer mentioned they are Navajo. The silver does look heavier than what you think Zuni silver would be, but the giveaway is the coral. Those small cabs appear to be purchased coral, not the hand shaped pieces a Zuni piece would have.

Thanks Jason, your perspective is always educational! They do have a bit of a heavy feel to them which I like. Never thought about the cabs being hand cut vs. purchased.
