I have a large turquoise thunderbird pendant (3 1/2’ long, 3 1/4" wide). The turquoise is light blue with a lot of brown veining. It has the following hallmark: D SECATERO. It weighs approximately 100 grams (3.5 oz) and was purchased in Albuquerque sometime in the early 80’s.
I’ve been trying to find out who the artist is. The only two names I have discovered is Dorothy or Delbert Secatero, but I have not seen that particular hallmark stamped on any of the pieces of theirs I’ve seen online.
Has anyone seen or know who uses or used this hallmark? I am trying to determine the value to insure, if needed, or possibly sell.
