Do you recognize this mark?

Recently purchased a sterling silver and diamond ring. Not even sure if it is Native American, but does anyone recognize the mark? Someone told me it could be Zuni.

I believe a M inside a circle. Does anyone know of an artist that works in silver and diamonds?

Looking at the construction, I would say it was made overseas. Have you tried to find info on the makers mark?

Does not look at all Native made to me.

Yes I have, but need to look further. It seems it would be easy to find, but so far I haven’t come up with anything.

I am beginning to agree. Thank you!

It almost looks like in the middle of the ring someone tried to imitate the Chanel crossed C’s.

Unrelated to Native American production. Diamonds–hmm, maybe melee, maybe whatever, unless you have a rock solid reputable seller. I don’t see bezel settings, looks like glued-in mounting. In any case, whoever said Zuni was uninformed.

Thank you for that info. And the diamonds are bezel settings. Just probably doesn’t show well in photo.

I am not familiar with Chanel crossed C’s…can you give me a little info?

The designer fashion line. Not much, just a little.

Ok, I get it now! Thanks!

The 4 larger stones look like they are flush mount settings, not bezel set and what I think are smaller stones look bead set. Diamonds generally don’t go in silver, and while the gallery doesn’t look great, something else you don’t generally see for silver rings, perhaps the metal is something other than silver? I would take the ring to a reputable jeweler and find out about the metal and stones. Edited to add - I missed the 925 in the picture, I don’t know why so much handwork (sawing out a gallery, flush & bead setting stones, let alone diamonds), would be invested in a silver ring. One of life’s great mysteries.
