Hello. I am new to this forum and hoping someone can help. I recently purchased a piece of turquoise pendant which is signed by Doug Zachary. It’s a large Bisbee pendant. I am not sure if my photos will post. I have tried, without success, to see if there was any history on who Doug Zachary was. I have seen a tremendous amount of his pieces and would love to know more. Anyone know much about his history?

We purchase stone from a Doug Zachary that talks about making jewelry, possibly the same guy. He is from the Southeast and I believe he has some relation to the family that owns Gertrude Zachary in Albuquerque. I would guess he is in his 60s and been involved in this industry for a very longtime.

Thank you for responding. The stone that is included is being advertised as Bisbee Turquoise and from all of my research seems to be a genuine turquoise stone. I wanted to make sure I was purchasing something authentic and was trying to research the artist, but nothing was coming up in my search results for him.
