Dragon's breath

Got a new cutie! it’s less than an inch, no hallmarks of any kind (I was expecting Maisel’s or Bell), with a dragon’s breath booty! I’m obsessed with dragon’s breath and sterling bugs so this was a no brainer. I need to take a pic of all my db glass, and all my bug pins, to share with you!

@Jemez2 That’s a fun piece! Please show us all your pieces! I’ve rarely seen dragon’s breath in a native design.

I found this dragon’s breath brooch in a thrift store. Unmarked, but I think it’s Kramer.

I grabbed it fast! Very hard to photograph. I love the bluish flame-like effect in the red glass cabs. The camera can’t capture the iridescence that the human eye can easily see. Not to be confused with foiled glass, which is completely different.

Maybe one day I’ll find some saphiret, which is a bluish version. These Czech art glass cabs are not easy to find!

I love dragons breath too and I like both of your items, gals.

I’m gonna have to go thrifting with @stracci . That is a great vintage piece.

I love this!!! I’m the same. I love insects and unusual stones/glass. I have a pair of screw back dragons breath earrings. But they are tiny.
