E D Dick mark on Antique Turquoise Pendant - Need help with ID on stone & maker

First post please let me know if I am following the rules

Hey folks,
I buy allot of sterling silver sometimes pounds. I get lots of NA pieces or NA style pieces and I am super careful on how I represent them in trade! I think it’s super important to respect makers, traditions and protect those real pieces from the massive number of fakes in the world. My attempts to identify pieces has brought me to a few forums, this being one, I was researching a Hopi silver pendant when I found you all! I’m super thankful I did!

Yesterday I came upon this piece in a scrap lot I purchased OTC at my retail brick and mortar in the north east US.

It looks Navajo to me, not really sure though

.

It also appears to be a real piece of turquoise but I’m not 100% of what type it is.

Can anyone help me with the maker and the stone type? I really appreciate you all! Thanks in advance for the help!

I had no luck with the maker (maybe someone else will), but it does have a Navajo look, however I would be leery to sell it as such without knowing for sure. As far as the turquoise, :person_shrugging: I would think it’s from an American mine, but so many produce green that’s it simply a guessing game. Again, you shouldn’t sell it as being from a certain mine without actual good provenance. In this forum we enjoy trying to figure out mines, but it’s mostly for our own curiosity.
