Picked up this Edwardian 10k pin today. Measures 27mm x 22mm.

Pretty! I love the seed pearls and stars! And the blue is divine.
I recently read that celestial jewelry was very popular around the time Halley’s comet was seen in 1910.
That would certainty date your piece to the Edwardian period !

Very pretty. Before I became a NA jewelry addict my favorite styles of jewelry were Art Noveau and Edwardian with a little Art Deco scattered in.

the best pieces from that era were dripping with the finest selection of Persian turquoise.

when you do find these pieces in the dusty dark corners of antique shop cases there is usually always 1 or 2 pieces missing

My local jewelry store has some very droolworthy antique pieces made with turquoise and gold; I’m saving up!
