Thank you so much @Patina! We are watching the fires too..so sad so many homes destroyed. A lot of horse property up there so I always worry about that too. We’re in a valley southeast of Reno, so for now we’re OK. Our home has a tile roof and we’re right on the Carson River, so fingers crossed. Fire units from all over, even Australia helping out, but when the winds kick up in the afternoon, the fire can jump the fire breaks. Forecast for continued hot and dry with sustained winds.
God bless these fire fighters, they’re such devoted hard working individuals.

@Bmpdvm Good to hear from you! Glad that y’all are okay. That Reno fire is devastating. My heart goes out to all the folks who’ve lost their homes. And the poor wildlife, too. So sad. I have deep respect for firefighters. They’re truly special people.
