Found way more than I was looking for

As it happens, I was in Abq and Gallup right before @ziacat  over the next couple of weeks, I had time to go too many places and see too many things…we got to Santa Fe, Durango, and Mancos as well. My husband and I did our part to support native craftspeople!

Pendants by Dennison Tsosie (Morenci), Ruben Saufkie, Bennie Ration, Juliana Williams, Tamara Pinto

Earrings: Harold Joe and Jimmy Jackson

Cuffs are Tahe and Jacob Troncosa, ring is Leon Martinez.

Now maybe I should look into an addiction support group!

Very cool collection, and we were both just doing a good thing supporting Native artists

I love the Tsosie pendant; it has such a beautiful stone. What is the band like on the fabulous Martinez ring?

I may have a cuff addiction, and I think you have one that involves pendants

(I also like your topic headline!)

Thanks, @ziacat, I think you are right! The ring has a plain wide silver band, it is adjustable. Another stone with character

And husband picked up a couple nice pots…

Oh, and not to forget the Zuni hummingbirds I posted on the Birds thread

Oh yes, those hummingbirds are too awesome!! We bought a little tiny seed pot also.

I love your ring, but all your pieces are beautiful!

Great choices @tepowell! What a collection! My personal favorites are the inlay dragonfly, and the ring. Is the stone in the ring Royston? I’m also interested to see what the band looks like.

And A+ on the thread titles, guys.

Love the Saufkie and Ration pendants. And anything by Leon Martinez is great.

This is it, honey! And we support you in your spending!:joy:

All gorgeous choices. You do have great taste! The Ruben Saufkie pendant is fab! And I think we all are crazy for that dragonfly…..

Thank you, @stracci! So lovely to be in a community that “gets” it

The dragonfly was at Richardson’s and a steal…I was really surprised, couldn’t leave it behind! And there’s my husband, encouraging me

The ring is adjustable, always a plus in the humid Deep South. (It was a rude reminder returning from Colorado!).

Not sure on the stone, Rio Grande Trading didn’t specify. The person assisting me said Leon Martinez comes in a lot. Some of us saw him and his wife, exhibiting as L and V, at Eiteljorg-they are making a line for Ralph Lauren.

@tepowell, I had on my Leon Martinez ring at Cameron Trading Post, and the young Navajo gal helping me noticed it right away. She showed me a pendant that was exactly like the ring. I said, “oh, I bought it from them at a Native art market in Indianapolis,” and the gal assisting me said, “she (Valerie) let him out for once?” And laughed. She said he (Leon) hardly ever goes to the shows. And I don’t remember seeing him at the Eiteljorg after all

@nanc9354 I agree with ya. The Saufkie & Ration pendants are my favorite. But, all the jewelry is really very nice.

I had to look up L and V to figure out who it was! They were both at the booth when I stopped, she made a point of displaying the Ralph Lauren pieces

So she did let him out of the house :joy:

Thanks, y’all, for indulging me  unfortunately, everywhere I looked I saw something else! We were kind of researching places to sell/consign/get evaluations of family holdings we’ll need to rehome at some point, so we visited a lot of places.

I’d seen a similar, more elaborate Saufkie pendant in Santa Fe… only $1200! I was happy to find one I liked better, at a fraction, at Perry Null. And while it’s a little odd to have a mudhead pendant, I really like it

I think I would lose my mind if I did a road trip and stopped at all the places. I already have too much but I can’t help it. I see a beautiful stone and I am done.

The Dennison Tsosie pendant getting an outing…

Sorry I’m late to the party, probably posted during my travels. Congrats on gorgeous additions! My faves: the two leftmost pendants–Dennison Tsosie and Ruben Saufkie–and certainly the Leon Martinez ring. Wow, the scale of the Dennison pendant makes quite the statement (with your gorgeous heishe)!

Enjoy these great pieces!
