Francis Burnside Painting

This painting, created by Francis Burnside, now a Navajo healer or hataalii, was given to my father in 1957. Francis is not a career artist, so this painting is obviously quite rare. I suppose this would make the value either considerably less than a career artist, or more so since it is so rare. I dunno.

(The cars are to prevent the image from being misused.)

Any thoughts?

It is a very popular style from that time period, look up art by Jimmy Toddy. I don’t see a signature, and if you don’t have other work by him to compare with I would think it takes away from the value. However, it is something to enjoy and has a nice family history.
