Grandmother ring wanted help to identify Please

I have a old turquoise ring, belonged to great grandmother i believe. Trying to identify what time period, if it is Navajo. Any help i would be so grateful.

@MamaDove Hi ~ your ring looks to me to possibly be from the 1970s-1980s. It doesn’t appear to be hallmarked. I don’t know if it’s Navajo made but, in my opinion, it’s Native American style. Hope this helps a bit.

Agree. It is not especially old, although I’m showing my age to think that something from the 60s or 70s is not that old! It looks like a common produced Style, I really would not know if it was Navajo or anything else, but I still think it’s a nice ring! It’s not hallmarked on the back, which is a little unusual but not completely unheard of. I’ve got a few 60s pieces that are unmarked

I agree with the other comments. It does look Navajo to me, but absent a hallmark (or at least the knowledge where or who from it was purchased), you can’t know 100%. I have a few similar style unmarked rings that I know are Navajo made (because I trust the store/trading posts where I bought them), which were probably made in the 70’s-80’s. How special that it was your Grandmother’s!
