I found this today. It was in with a bunch of other non-native american jewelry at an antiques mall.
Size is 6-1/2" (5-1/2" of silver with a 1" gap) and it weighs 16g.

I don’t remember seeing much besides the standard turquoise either. But is this mother-of-pearl or abalone?

There was a small sticker that said Genuine Abalone, it was on it when I got in the car but not when I got home so I’m sure it’s in the car’s console somewhere. I have to try to find it.
