Heavy Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

Unsigned except for CO49SB which is hand written with an etching pen on the back of the naja. I’m assuming that is some sort of re-sellers code. The beads are approximately 14-15 mm in diameter and change to 11-12 mm in diameter 4 beads past the last blossoms on each side, there are 20 of these smaller beads, 10 on each side. Total weight is 264 g. Total length is 29.5 in. and each blossom is 1.25 in. from the back of the bead to the end of the blossom including the center blossom in the naja. The closure is made of a square stock. Ok, I think that’s all I have. Looking for some estimate of age and value.

This is really nice. Not sure what the etched markings are for. I would call this circa 1980s and $900 - $1100. I see these come through the shop and they always have a nice weight and good look. Yours has a nice patina.

Thank you Jason, You’re awesome.

Someone saw this and gave the name James Begay. He did lots of piece work for Richardson’s Trading Post back in the 60s - 80s.
