Its been in the Family for about 40 yrs or so, Ive ended up with it, and since im a Old Mountain man kinda guy it doesnt have any purpose for me.
Research says Greg Pat was a famous Indian Silversmith who taught the craft to alot of the old ( now famous) Indian Silversmiths from the 40’s & 50’s onward that are revered today. That’s about all I know about him,
There are a few of Identical pieces by him on that site called Ebay, priced close to $1000.
Greg Pat is the step-son of Harry Morgan (now deceased), who was one of the propelling forces in the early Navajo Traditional Revival movement of jewelry making. Greg learned to smith silver from Harry and continues to make pieces in the Traditional Revival style
