Hello, I’m Paul Chapman in Louisiana, I joined a couple months ago and have been reading your posts. I found this group by accident, I was looking for turquoise lapidary but quickly became interested in the nature of this forum. I know a little about turquoise mineralogy but I have very little experience working with it nor do I own any turquoise jewelry. I’ve been cutting stone and doing lapidary for about 20 yrs and for the past 15yrs mostly I’ve been cutting jade only. I have always had a strong interest in turquoise and this is my small collection of turquoise stones that was given to me by my friend Victor Helm of Houston before he passed on. A few of the stones were labeled but I am not entirely sure about any except the Royston nuggets, those stones were special to Vic and he kept them on a shelf above his desk. The little heart is natural and as it was found. Some of this is stabilized, a lot of it is natural.
