These are two cuffs I found at a yard sale. One I think is Zuni…the stones are not polished and there are no identifying marks…the other is marked Sterling with a LC ( Lee Chee?) . Your expertise is always appreciated…
You may find this prior thread comparing hand made Zuni row cuffs to machine cast, non-native imitations helpful:
Yours, like the one in the original thread, is not Zuni and not hand made.
Thanks for the information…I only paid $100 for the pair……I learn so much from this group …again thank you.
Not a bad price for what they are as I believe they are both sterling
@Llawrence Hi ~ Those are nice cuffs to come across at a yard sale! Especially the one with coral & turquoise. That “LC” hallmark may possibly belong to Lee Chee (Navajo). I located this at an online resource tool: https://www.amerindien.com Lee Chee is also listed in Hougart’s NA/Southwestern Silver Hallmarks book but, unfortunately, no image of his hallmark is provided there.
Thank you for the information. We live in Myrtle Beach and many people move here from larger places to smaller beach homes. We always find great stuff at the sales around here. Every now and then we find turquoise and silver
