What were you told when you bought it? Looks like a turquoise Santo Domingo necklace. I have no idea on age.

I actually won it in an eBay auction so I really wasn’t told anything about it. It appears very old to me and I was wondering what something like would cost. It’s heavy and so pretty in person, almost afraid to wear it lol
I don’t know that it’s very old, but I am not particularly good at guessing age. Most of us on here don’t really do appraisals. Your best bet is to Google similar necklaces.

It appears authentic to me. As in real turquoise with some age.
