Help in identifying Native American artist initials and hallmark

This piece was purchased at the Heard Museum in Arizona late 80s or early 90s. I am unable to identify artist initials and hallmark. (Possibly Irene Tewa?). Exquisite craftsmanship for sure.

I couldn’t find anything online regarding Irene Tewa so couldn’t compare her work with this. Since it was purchased at the Heard, maybe contact them to see if they have a record of it?

I couldn’t find the hallmark, but maybe someone else will. I have seen the stamp that is with the initials - there are several similar ones without initials listed on the Amerindian site that are unidentified.

Thank you so much for your response. I will keep trying.

You’re welcome! Someone else on here may find something yet

Btw I did think to call museum but no one ever answers

Well at least you tried. I’m sure they are very busy. I don’t have the larger hallmark books, but other members do, so maybe it will be found eventually. It seems odd to me that the Heard would sell jewelry from a not well known artist.
