Help with this turquoise ring

I bought this to resell, thinking it was a small snake eye ring. As soon as I unwrapped it I knew I was keeping it. Which brings me to the stones. They appear to be handcut. They are all uneven surfaces instead of smooth. Is this a thing? The tear drop settings appear to be placed on top of cones that were smashed down, so there are 3 layers of silver- the setting, the cone and the base. What style would this be? Are they real turquoises? They are a light minty blue. I did the tooth test, and it’s too heavy to be plastic. And lastly, I can’t figure out who AH is. Since they signed it I’m guessing not too old, despite all the patina. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance!

This is a nice ring. I don’t see any reason to think it might be faux turquoise. I would say this is from the 70’s at the earliest. I have a similarly constructed Zuni ring too, I have been unable to identify the artist
