Thanks. I did see the post with the 2 hallmarks before your reply. If you look closely the hallmark on my bracelet is different from the one posted by Kathy Vidal. For me the puzzle is not solved.

No apologies necessary. You’re describing what you see.

Thank you! It’s actually not super large, but I’ve picked up quite a lot over the years in my travels out west, and from a wonderful Western Art Museum here in IN; the museum has a fabulous Indian Art Market every summer. I was also blessed to inherit some really nice items from my parents (my brother and sister weren’t interested in it).

I have several rules for my shopping now - I must plan on wearing it, it’s got to be in my budget, and I have to absolutely love it. I don’t really shop online for Native art, because to me the stuff I’ve bought goes hand in hand with memories from travel. When I started shopping for Native art for myself, I was really, really careful, and tried to learn a lot as I went. So many of the trading posts/shops I used to go to in the Four Corners area had amazing owners that spent a lot of time helping to educate customers. Unfortunately many of them are closed now.

There are others on here that have some absolutely gorgeous heirloom type stuff. Keep reading old threads!
