Fascinated with the Hopi culture and symbols and trying to figure out what this overlay design represents. I think probably Hopi because of the distinctive hatch marks. To my eye the symbol on these small unmarked earrings comes closest to the rain or rain clouds symbols I have seen on Hopi sites. Anybody have thoughts on the symbol? (I enjoy taking photos of my pieces😀) Thank you!

Maybe cloud, thunder, with no rain. The usual story here in the Southwest
