Hi! I’ve recently acquired many pieces of native jewelry from a family members estate and I’m trying to decide which pieces to keep and which to sell. There seem to be huge variances in price when researching certain pieces so can anyone provide insight as to how to price native jewelry? Specifically, I have a vintage red lip heishi and petal turquoise necklace and a princess Navajo bracelet that I don’t know what to price at. Any advice? Thank you!

Weight, type of turquoise if known, maker, time period all factor in. Hopefully you will have some hallmarks to start with. This type of jewelry is often unfortunately called a slave bracelet and I think the popularity began in the 1970s. Might look for similar items online but the quality can vary a lot.
