I’m hoping someone can help in identifying the maker of this ring. I’ve always thought it was Navajo, but a close example on the homepage is listed as Zuni. The hallmark is the initials “B.M.” with the periods being small circles. Any help will be greatly appreciated, as would an idea of its value. Thanks from a desert rat in Michigan.
I would call this Navajo work. Usually when you have a ring like this that is Zuni made the shank will be a sandcast style. The stone looks like it could possibly be a piece of Carico Lake Turquoise. It has a nice look and age, depending on if you can identify the maker and what size that stone is will help give the piece a value. From the picture I would call it a one hundred dollar ring, thanks for sharing
