I inherited a squash blossom necklace from my mother when she passed away. Can anybody give me any details about this necklace at all? Does anybody know what it is worth? I actually just came across a few more squash blossom pieces and I know nothing about squash blossoms but I just remember my mother telling me how precious they were and to speak to experts about them. I’m 31 and this is completely outside of my realm. Any information would be highly appreciated thank you!

It’s very pretty, but I don’t have much to say except that it looks Navajo, and the stones look to be coral. I don’t see a hallmark on the back - am I missing it (a hallmark is the artist’s identifying mark generally stamped on the back)? Worth can vary greatly depending on many factors, and most of us here aren’t comfortable with giving $ values since we aren’t appraisers. I can’t tell how old it is, or if the beads are handmade, so hopefully some other members will add their knowledge.
How wonderful to have such a lovely item from your mom, and I am so sorry for your loss.
