SAN/picto signed a hand drawn flower or four leaf clover and what looks like a rose and another flower.
I dont believe that is zuni, just by looking at the ring casting. what’s the top look like? just from this pic, leaning toward import.
Not Zuni. It’s a production machine casting. The inlay looks hurried, a bit haphazard. This was likely made as part of a production lot in a batch of many pieces produced for quick inexpensive sale. The signature was done with a vibratory engraver, and not very well. It’s not uncommon to find this type of “signature” applied to a piece after it’s changed hands many times to create false provenance and enhance perceived value for resale to unsuspecting consumers. Not saying this is the case here, but I’ve seen so much of this type of merchandise being sold at swap meets, online, at gun shows, etc, I ‘d be very surprised if the individual who inlaid it “signed” it.
