It belonged to my Mom and any help would be greatly appreciated. I know that my parents collected a lot of Zuni and Navajo vintage jewelry, but I can not identify this. Many thanks!

I think this might be Chinese turquoise. Chinese turquoise often has “windows” of turquoise in heavy matrix like this. Also, the ring itself is not typical of a Native American design, I belive it might be a cast or manufactured piece.
