I believe I have a 1978 Mark Hileman (MMH) Architectural Period pendant in 14k gold. Can anyone confirm if this 4-stone mosaic (Lapis, Turqoise, Malachite, Agate, Iron Wood, Pipe Stone) was his primary Scottsdale studio palette before he pioneered the Opal inlay in the 80s? Looking for any insights on the evolution of this ‘Architectural’ hallmark, or ideas on its rarity.

Thanks! I did do that so we’ll see what John/Mark say. Looking forward to hear any thoughts any of you have on it. It’s a pretty cool piece, and some really unusual materials in it that I didn’t know anything about until looking them up.
Update on this if anyone was following, talked to John Hileman, he said it is definiely a piece Mark did in the late ‘70s. Hoping to get some confirmation from him on the materials used in case I find a collector who is interested.
