My friend who passed away had this earring and I was given the piece by her mother. It is marked AL and I’m just trying to see more information about it.
Thanks for any clues. So far it seems to me it could be Zuni or Navajo and I did find one artist who signs her name AL. I am wondering how likely it is her

This would be Navajo, possibly Kingman turquoise. I couldn’t find anything on the hallmark. It isn’t going to be very old, 1990s. Sorry for your loss. Not sure if you have the other side, if not you could wear it as a pendant.
