This might be the mark of Robert Becenti Jr., a Navajo artist; it looks like a worn version of the mark shown in Bille Hougart’s book, Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks. cheers, MarthaT
This is a tough one, the head is definitely different than the Robert Becenti Jr. in the Hougart publication. You can make out the NG, most like the end of STERLING, it appears to be a MA? above. You think of his work being overlay silver, but definitely doesn’t mean this could not be his work. Good luck!
