identify the squash blossom era

hello everyone I’m new here and I’m looking for information on one of my squash blossom necklaces. it is unsigned it has a spiderweb or number8 type turquoise in rectangular shape it did not hold well so it was removed and put in safety there is no resin on the back and it was placed on cardboard. the necklace itself is quite light no more than 120 grams.
what era can it be? I thought about it when I bought it in the 40’s or 50’s but I wonder if it’s not from the mid 60’s. thank you for your opinion

It is hard to determine, same styles and techniques of squash blossom necklaces can cover multiple decades. That stone is special, but that could have been 40s - 60s. The first thing I did when I read this was google 1950s Navajo squash blossom, this is one of the pieces I found http://finenativeamericanart.com/store/p33/Vintage Sterling_Silver_Navajo_Squash_Blossom_Necklace__circa_1950.html. Be happy that you have a very nice piece and understand that this could be argued for all the dates you propose.

That is a great looking squash! Really like the larger beads. Gives it a nice heavy look. :+1:

Thanks for posting and welcome!
