Hi - Looking for an identification on a hallmark. Picked this up at a thrift store a couple of years ago and have worn it ever since. The buckle is about 2" x 1-1/2". Thanks for whatever info you can throw my way.

Hey @CamT, nice looking Hopi overlay buckle. It appears the silversmith was Gene Pooyouma, according to the art-amerindian website. It’s one of the reference sources we utilize for hallmark identification.
To be certain, I would research Gene’s work, and compare it to your buckle and it’s hallmark.

Very nice Hopi buckle. I tried to guess the artist without looking at replies. I got it right…probably because I have a piece by this artist.
