Snagged this bolo tie at a thrift store for $6, trying to see if I can ID the artist or at least confirm as authentic. Hallmark is the word Sterling with a J centered below it. The Art Amerindian site suggests maybe Jason Livingston or Jacqueline Silver but I don’t know enough to move forward from there.

Good call, I dunno why I didn’t catch that, guess I’d fixated on the J and not the material stamp. Nothing stamped on the lock front, back, or sides, and by the difference in sheen and the verdigris I’m thinking it’s a different material like nickel silver.
Still happy for 6 bucks, my first bolo, all my family has had them for years and I just never got one.
