Identifying turquoise and maker of cuff bracelet

I got this beautiful turquoise and sterling silver cuff with the initial R stamped inside.
I would like to identify the type of turquoise and the artisan if possible.

The stone might be Variscite, not Turquoise. Can you get some better photos of the stone? .

These are the best photos I could get, but will attempt to take better ones outdoors if you need more.
Any idea as to the initial “R”?
